Courtney Miller
Professor Courtney Miller's research sits at the intersection of software engineering, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. Her work focuses on shaping the evolution of software development and maintenance processes alongside Generative AI (GenAI), and on open source software supply chain sustainability and security. Her research combines empirical mixed-method approaches blending large-scale quantitative analysis and qualitative human-centered techniques, with tooling and solution development. Some of her recent projects include: measuring the long-term quality and security costs of agentic code in real-world projects, and developing GenAI-based tools for addressing supply chain disruptions like dependency abandonment.
