In this lecture, Dr. Zhang will cover security architecture topics beyond the regular network security work. This includes how to leverage threat intelligence to better defend against cyber-attacks, the use of identity and device as the new perimeter when the network boundary expands to mobile devices, and how to securely adopt cloud services.
Bio:
Zhijun (William) Zhang leads the security architect team at The World Bank Group, where the team is responsible for designing and evaluating the security architecture of enterprise platforms and applications, as well as the adoption of vendor-hosted or cloud services. Before joining the World Bank, William worked at The Vanguard Group as a security architect. William received his B.S. and M.S degrees from Peking University, and his Ph.D. from University of Maryland, College Park, all in computer science.
